WHAT DO THE STUDIES SAY ABOUT SAME-SEX PARENTING?

[Barry Deutsch, a cartoonist, has criticized the reviews of same-sex parenting studies hereat his blog, Amptoons:]

Both of the papers Eve links to were commissioned by anti-gay-equality activists; neither one has been subjected to peer review. Neither link Eve cites provides any evidence that children raised by lesbian or gay parents have any negative outcomes, compared to the children of straight parents.

To balance things out, Eve might want to add the following links, which summarize the social science evidence and conclude that the children of gay parents don't suffer any ill effects....
