LETTER TO MINN. SENATORS ON FMA: Matt Taylor

Dear Senators Coleman and Dayton,
The recent controversy over same-sex marriage (SSM) has prompted calls for a constitutional amendment to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman. I am writing you to express serious reservations about the proposed Federal Marriage Amendment (FMA), and to propose an alternative amendment that may offer a more permanent remedy for the "judicial activism" that many have cited in the SSM debate.
