NY RULING: Commenters at Balkinization

Lots of interesting discussion here. (Mostly) short posts, thus easy to read. Marriage as social approval, marriage as "integration of the sexes," marriage as religious freedom issue, marriage as contract (with spouses as "cosignees"), marriage as right to procreate; polygamy, cousin marriage, and more.
